[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I have always been fascinated by etymology, the roots and origin of words. Since my native tongue is French while living a life exclusively in English I often have a better incentive than most to look things up. While I got the gist of what serendipity is, I did the exercise of looking it it up since I felt that it should be the underlying canvas of my first post in my exciting journey with the Master Key Experience.
The most common definition of serendipity is the faculty of making fortunate discoveries by “accident”. ( I put the quotation mark on accident and will revisit this at another time)
But what struck me even more is the origin of the word
“1754 (but rare before 20c.), coined by Horace Walpole (1717-92) in a letter to Horace Mann (dated Jan 28); he said he formed it from the Persion fairy tale “The Princess of Serendip”, whose heroes “were always making discoveries, by accident and sagacity, of things they were not in quest of.”
What happened is I was already on a mind bend to further expand my capacity to live the bigger dream. Already a raving fan of the power of the mind I felt that Joe Dispenza, Thoreau, Emmerson, Ernest Holmes were already my friends and about 5 years ago I even downloaded Charles Haanel’s book, but after looking at it, naaaa! not now 🙂
When I found out about the Master Key Experience I had just finished “You’re a Badass at Making Money” by Jen Sincero (highly recommended) and was in the middle of “The Big Leap” by Guy Hendricks when I stumbled by “accident” on an 1 month old email, a dear friend of mine sent me after we discussed my new foray into network marketing. It was an old email address I rarely look at anymore but the funny thing he actually sent it went the course was starting but instead I found it 4 weeks later.
Immediately, I realized that Mark was talking my lingo and that this is exactly what I needed for my next step. A concrete, disciplined and well articulated approach to use the power of my mind to bring the changes I want to see. Not by chance, not by accident but by conscious design.
It was very refreshing to see the non typical marketing gimmick where my head would probably have exploded if I had heard one more time the word “funnel”…..pooof too late!. “You gotta bring people into your funnel tease them with a low offer then slam them with the back door high ticket bla bla” (I’m using Mark’s whining voice here )
This course is giving me a clear path to be the change I want to see in the world in a much bigger scale I could have done on my own. I feel I have a true mentor that is genuinely interested in helping me clarify my own path and giving me a concrete set of tools to get the job done in the most efficient way, manifesting it effortlessly.
So while I was not in the market for a 6 month commitment to a serious process I “accidentally” stumbled on what I really needed and despite being 4 weeks late into the program it was still perfect timing. I am doing my best to catch up and this is my first post of 6 I have to catch up to.
It’s challenging but I am putting my best to catch up by the end of this week, my trailer, my board, my press release the whole nine yard
Welcome to Serendip. I’m the fourth Prince, deal with it!!![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
